Because the appointment of the Woodsworth Endowed Chair is still in process, it would be inappropriate to comment on an issue that has still to be decided. You should be aware that as part of its Framework Agreement with the Simon Fraser University Faculty Association, there is extensive coverage of academic freedom, a copy of which is attached.
